Scarce Eve Pearce (England) hand made figurine of a Shih Tzu dog in a reclining pose. Eve's work is quite hard to find, and this Shih Tzu is definitely a treasure. Eve has blended layers of porcelain "hair" on the dog, which is a trademark of her style, and she has hand detailed the coat. Look at the "flying" tail hair, presumably as this puppy wags her tail! The long layered hair on the head makes for a particularly expressive look. The workmanship on this particular piece is truly outstanding! The figurine measures 3 1/4" tall by just over 6 1/4" long.
