Pre-war Dobro or Regal coverplate with patent number. Please note that it is in rough shape and is offered as is.  The metal over the bridge is very weak and would need to be reinforced. It has some dents, and the screw holes have been reamed out to accommodate larger screws than originals. It also needs to be cleaned. Please ask any questions at least a day before end of auction.
