I got this calibration grating in with a bunch of other accessories for the
AutoProbe
CP-Research Microscope.

Someone has written on the box with magic marker 2
,3,9,15um
grids if that tells you anything.

When I first started looking at these things I was puzzled that whatever the grating is stuck to, that didn’t want to come out of the little plastic case.
On this one I finally tore it loose and was worried that I had ruined it.
Then it finally dawned on me that the strip is just a piece of refrigerator magnet that the grating base sticks to, so I put some foam around the perimeter so that it can’t shift around.
