    Description

Vintage SIGNED Maho HOPI Tewa Village Poly Chrome INDIAN POTTERY Pot Bowl Jar--
I don't know much about this pot.  I know my family used to go to the Indian Reservations (Navajo/ Hopi/ & Pima & Papago) often years ago.  I know this pot has been in our family for years.  I know it has been in a bookcase.  & I know the bottom it etched Hopi Maho   But I don't know who to attribute the bowl to.  It is obvious it is Hopi but 1st Mesa ? / Maho family
the bowl appears early Poly Chrome.  it is a small bowl & appears to be very early.
We are gearing for retirement so selling everything in our bookcase "no holds barred"
the measurements are 1 5/8" high x 3" diameter.  it is thick & well made but some of the coloring is fading.
sold as is.  tho I don't see any cracks, chips or issues, it is old & it is primitive. & the design has a bit either absorbed or faded.
listing this on an auction, as I have no idea what price point it would be.  so therefore listing it on  a bid auction.  So bidders have fun.
