Reproduction Vietnam Era U.S. C ration Meal Combat Individual MCI   Beans and Frankfurter Chunks in Tomato Sauce
I have replaced the old accessory packets with actual Mylar pouches like the original C rations came with instead of laminated foil/paper like the last reproduction run, these are resealable as well.  They are a 1/2 inch thinner and 1 inch shorter than the original but vets and reenactors said they like the Mylar much better as it looks more like the originals and it can double a water proof pouch.  The cans tops have also been painted with a better looking paint more true to the ordinals and the bottoms of the boxes are now firmly secured by popular demand.
This ration contains modern food still in the original factory packaging that has been covered by period labels or placed inside a period style cans for sanitary and legal reasons.
All the cans (and now the accessory packet!) are reusable with the tops being pop off.  These are marketed towards historical re-enactors that portray the Vietnam War time period.  The contents are designed to look as close to period correct as possible without the cost being outrageous while being useful, consumable and used.  These can be carried in the field, getting roughed up without a historical artifact being destroyed or you being out a lot of money or being a FARB.

Modern food includes a chocolate chip brownie in the Chocolate Nut roll can, a Reeses peanut butter cup in the B1-Unit wrapped in a Vanilla Fudge wrapper(B3 this run for all boxes), 1 can of Beans and Franks (Hotdog slices, this was one of the vets favorites because it tasted good cold) in the M-Unit can  , 2 packets of grape jelly in spread can, Chiclets gum, Folders Coffee, Creamer, Salt, and Sugar.
I am now also including 2 packs of three crackers, these are thinner than the original so you get 6 total instead of 4 like the originals, but they are factory packaged.
No cigarettes are included for legal reasons and to keep cost down but the pull tab is inside the pack if you want to cut the top of the plastic off the pack with a exacto knife and insert 4 cigarettes wrapped in aluminum foil to smoke or display.
I will be offering just the accessory packets in the future as well so these can be entirely refilled and reused if so desired.  Extra spoons are now available, see my other items for sale.
