Rawl Spike Driver SDS Catalog No. 3790. Condition is "New".
4 5/8” long 5/8” diameter. For use in SDS rotary hammer drill.
I have 3 of these spike drivers available for sale. They are identical and all 3 appear to be new and unused. One is in a black plastic case. The other two do not have a case. The price is for each spike driver but I will combine shipping if the buyer wants two or all three.
While the Spike anchor can be easily installed using a hammer, a specially designed driver provides a fast, easy-to-use method for installing Spike anchors into concrete and masonry materials. The tool allows Spike anchors to be installed in confined areas and prevent damage to the fixture from stray hammer blows. The Spike Driver is a one-piece tool with an SDS shank formed on one end and a retractable guide on the other. The driver is designed to fit directly into the chuck of an SDS rotary hammer drill to provide maximum impact energy for faster driving. Once the anchor hole is drilled, insert the Spike Driver into the chuck of the rotary hammer drill. Insert the tip of the Spike through the fixture into the anchor hole, and then place the guide over the head of the Spike. Turn the rotary hammer on and drive the Spike until it is at the required embedment in the base material and seated flush against the fixture. As the Spike is driven into the base material, the guide retracts until the anchor is fully seated.
