    Description

    Offered, is an original 1942 WWII era advertising calendar from N.W. Warneke, a Standard Oil dealer, located in Lanark, Illinois.  It features a great WWII home front image of a dog looking out of a window in front of a Service Flag, by artist, Roy Best.  A Service Flag was displayed by families in their front window who had members of the armed forces serving in the war.
    The calendar pad is complete with all 12 months.  The calendar is in very good condition, with minor edge and corner wear, and some soiling.  It measures 13" x 7 1/2".  This is a great original WWII piece, and authentic '40s Americana!  Please see pictures for exact condition.  What you see, is what you get.
