For sale here is a student grade microscope that has been refurbished and upgraded with Zeiss optics. Original objectives were not Plan, or flat field. The upgraded German objective lenses are Plan objectives for focus in entire field of view. This microscope also has been upgraded with the ability to set up Koeler illumination. A field aperature has been added on top of the light source and adjustable centering lense with adjustment knobs. The illumination system uses a 6 volt 20 watt halogen bulb. So, for the price of a student grade microscope, you are getting a microscope equivalent to a much more advanced microscope. This has 4 Zeiss Plan (flat field) objective lenses, 2.5x, 10x, 40x, and 100x oil immersion.
