OLYMPUS BX-DSU SPINNING DISK CONFOCAL for use on Olympus BX51Wi, BX61Wi, BX61, or Olympus BX51 microscopes. It is a complete BX-DSU and IT INCLUDES the following optional components: DSU-CAD (1X C- Mount camera adapter), DSU-MRFPHQ (FILTER CUBE), U-MGFPHQ (FILTER CUBE), DSU-D3 (OPTIONAL SPINNING DISK #3), U-LH100HGAPO (LAMP HOUSE) AND BH2-RFL-T3 (LAMPHOUSE POWER SUPPLY with power cord). IT INCLUDES the following standard BX-DSU components: DSU-D2 (#2 Spinning Disk), Internal board for BX-UCB (BX-UCB not included) with cable to BX-DSU, Handswitch for disk in/out control with cable, 2 each Motorized filter wheels with 5 included ND filters and cable to a BX-UCB (the included second filter wheel can function as an shutter), Motorized filter cube turret (located inside the BX-DSU) with standard reflected mirror cube, 2 support stands, vertical illuminator with manual 6 position filter cube turret for eyepiece viewing, instructions, allen wrench, and labels. It does NOT include a required BX-UCB controller which are standard on BX61WI and BX61 models. It does not include a camera or motorized focus motors for BX51 or BX51wi's. It fits right on a BX51WI or BX61Wi frame with no adapters required. If used on a BX61 or BX51 a WI-ARMAD raising adapter (for illuminator and nosepiece) are required and a DSU-READ (light pass expansion adapter) are required and NOT included. If connected to a BX-UCB it will run without software and NO software is included. Disk #2 is the general disk for a wide range of UIS and UIS2 objectives and specimen types. It also comes with Disk #3 which is designed to work with 40X and 60X. Some of the objectives Disk 3 works well with are: PLANAPO60XOIL, UPLANAPO60XW, LUMPLFL40XW, UPLFL40X, and UPLANAPO40X.Software is readily available and required to acquire and process stacks of captured images. It will NOT fit or work on Olympus BX43, BX46, BX53, BX63, BX50, BX60, IX models, or other non-Olympus models. No microscope stands, heads, or objectives are included. It has been fully tested with fluorescent slides by an Olympus factory trained microscope professional. It is in excellent condition with sharp clear optics and runs like new.
