    Description

    Olympus BX Microscopes Polarizing Assembly w /  Slider
    Units surplus from an order by local curriculum district. The very few left are now listed on eBay.
    Before buying/bidding please check the following dimensions of your microscope:
    -      The upper part of the under stage illuminator to be 50mm exterior diameter.
    -      The width of the slider insertion gate opening is approx. 33.4mm.
    -      The height of the slider insertion gate is more than 10mm.
    Note: For BX units unable to receive a slider we have a separate listing where instead a slider we provided an analyzer 30mm insertion diameter to be placed under the microscope head. Please scroll my store items.

    Custom made this assembly is designed to fit a certain range of Olympus BX microscopes. (See above)
    Composed from two polarizing units, one a rotary pol unit designed to be placed above the illuminator and a second part dedicated to be inserted in the slider opening under the microscope head. The slider is included – please see the attached pictures.
    Detail Description:
    *******Polarizer (to be placed above upper side of lower illuminator) is a multilayer glass linear polarizing filter.
    ******* The slider polarizing filter is also a multilayer glass linear polarizing unit.
    ******* All mountings are made from 6061 Airspace aluminum. All polarizing filters are glass type.
    Slider is made from acrylic.
    About Olympus BH2 Microscopes: This polarizer assembly will fit a BH2 scope but a particular solution is provided for the analyzer and in the next future we intend to list polarizing assemblies for these scopes.
