Currently, this Rheinberg filter set is available in only the most common diameter - 32 mm (approximately 1.25 inch) for Zeiss standard. Our microscope used to take these photos is an
Omax
where the filter tray is directly below the condenser. If you have a similar tray/condenser arrangement on an
Omax
or any other microscope, this set will work for you.
This set of
four
filters will truly enhance your viewing pleasure and add dimension and interest to light colored objects as these photos of sea salt demonstrate. And yes, this set is a subset of our popular Rheinberg Filter offering that we have sold throughout the world (Please see the full set in our store). It is offered on the chance you do not need a full set of Rheinberg filters or you simply want to test the 'system' before purchasing the full set. We understand!
You will receive a solid filter, a center stop, and an annulus - all in the color shown. You will also receive a black center stop. With these four filters we created the photos you see in this order:
Green annulus with black center stop
Green center stop
Black center stop only
Annulus only( green salt grains with white background)
Solid green filter only
And the last photo is annulus only but the light has been polarized (see our store for polarization materials or kit)
