Metrotech 9860xt Pipe & Cable Locator Kit - Excellent Condition!

Description

This is a Metrotech 9860xt series Pipe & Cable locating system. These are used by utility companies, electricians and many other professionals to trace and track pipes and wires underground.  This is by far the cleanest nicest unit we have come across in many years of selling them.
All components are in great condition - this system doesn't look like it's been used at all. The cables are still factory tied. The plastic film protector is still over the display on the receiver wand.  There's barely any scratching on the wand or transmitter. There is absolutely no paint marks on either the wand or transmitter. There was some battery residue in the wand battery compartment due to the unit being stored long-term with the batteries installed but I cleaned all of it up and there's no damage anywhere.  The case is also in good condition, some marks from handling, storage and transport but no cracks or dents.
I tested the receiver and transmitter and they are both in excellent working condition. The wand has no problem picking up the signal sent by the transmitter. Arrow functionality working as expected as well. Display is readable with no defects to report and audio feedback works as expected.
The receiver requires 6 standard AA batteries for operation and the transmitter requires 8 D batteries for operation (or connect to external battery using included leads).
No batteries are included!
