Leitz Microscope 1934

Description

For sale is a 1934 Leitz monocular microscope. Serial number 306555, circa 1934
Included in the sale, all Leitz products:
Eyepieces: 6x;  Periplan 10X(not pictured), Periplan 10X eyeglass(not pictured).
X,Y slide holder.
Objectives:

Original case.
Condition:
This is a very nice instrument. The enamel is stain and scratch free and  has rich  blacks with snappy gloss.   The chrome looks like new. Signs of use throughout the scope are minimal. All movements work as they should and are  smooth. The optics still produce a fine image, free of clouds, fungus, floaters, etc. There are minor signs of use, but they do not detract from the function or finish.   No restoration is needed. This unit is capable of  dressing up any collection,  providing  years of pleasure viewing, or doing work in the field.
The case isn't so pretty, but it is still functional.
The 100X objective  is untested, as I have no skills for that. I saw a scratch near the glass with a loupe.
