    Description

    Service of the Synagogue Mahzor
    “Tabernacles”
A new Edition of the Festival Prayers
with an English Translation in Prose and Verse
    LEATHER BOUND EDITION 1928
    by
    Herbert M. Adler
    (
    1876-1940)
This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important and part of the historical knowledge base of Jewish religion.
Printed in New York by Hebrew Publishing Company, this is rare collectible 1928 original edition that has been in our home Judaica library since it was published 93 years ago.
The book itself appears to have never been read and shows normal age related wear from sitting on a shelf for so many years.
Given its age, the book is in remarkable condition.
It has what seems to be a pressed black leather cover with gold embossed lettering and gilded pages.
With light wear to the boards and elegant inside covers, there is no writing on any of the 254 pages.
The cover page states that this prayer book is “reprinted from the Latest and Best LONDON EDITION” and is the “Second Enlarged and Revised Edition.”
