    DESCRIPTION:
    The manufacturer says this is a standard model KS2,  center mount alloy kickstand with top plate and bolt.   It is in the bag that it came in from the factory.   Made in USA.
    Also included is a NEW rubber foot.  It was made by Greenfield for kickstands like this.  The rubber foot is not in the package with the kickstand because we bought the foot separately.
    My measurements:
    I measured the kickstand WITHOUT the rubber foot on it  and this is what I found.
    The distance from the top of the flat part of the kickstand to the bottom end that goes on the ground is about 320mm.  Since the kickstand angles outward, the distance from the frame of the bicycle to the ground would have to be  less than 320 mm for this kickstand to work.
    This is a standard type kickstand, and it WILL NOT WORK on bicycles that are not made for a standard center mount kickstand.  Also, for SOME Shimano front derailleurs, you would need the Retro top plate, and the Retro top plate is NOT included with this kickstand.
    This kickstand may not work with a bicycle that has a narrow frame, like Road Bicycles - I don't know.
    The kickstand might stick out so far from the rear frame that the crank arm would hit it when you pedal the bicycle.

    You can also see how to determine how much to cut off if it is too long. The package also tells how to determine the correct amount to cut off if it is too long.  Some people like to cut some off so it will still be a little too long, then they cut some more off.
