Endosim ColoEASIE-2 Endoscopic Real Tissue Simulator.
The EASIE-R(TM) series is based on the Erlangen Active Simulator for Interventional Endoscopy (EASIE) designed by Hochberger, Maiss, and Matthes. This series allows the realistic simulation of interventional gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures such as EMR, ESD, and others using our ex-vivo porcine gastrointestinal organ packages. The newest lower GI model of the EASIE series is the ColoEASIE-2.
Advantages of the ColoEASIE-2 model are improved durability due to the increased wall thickness. The addition of a rubber lip at the base of the simulator prevents movement of the tray when the endoscope is moved. Different specimen types can be used in the same simulator tray. The simulator includes improved attachment clamps to fix the specimen in position.
