Cargille Microscope Slide Immersion Oil Type B, High Viscosity, Formula 1248

Description

One per purchase, two available at time of listing Cargille microscope slide immersion oil type B, formula 1248.  These oil vials are 1/4oz each and are marked as Used because a couple of drops could have been used from them, though they are in good condition and appear completely full.  This oil is used between an oil microscope objective and a coverslip to increase light gathering and effective numerical aperture, giving a clearer and sharper view of the specimen.  This higher viscosity formula is one of the two recommended for use with Amscope oil objectives, but should be suitable for many other similar microscopes.  Full MSDS and datasheets are available from Cargille to confirm optical qualities.
