3M™ Dynatel™ 3229 Active Duct Probe is designed to trace the path of many types of non-metallic underground facilities. It is a mini-transmitter and pinpoints key points, such as J-boxes, hand holes and stubs. The duct probe runs on 4 active trace frequencies. This versatile ADP is compatible to use with 2210,‎ 2550,‎ 2273,‎ 2573,‎ 2273M,‎ 2250,‎ 2220M,‎ 2250M model locators.
3M™ Dynatel™ 3229 Active Duct Probe is a multi-purpose device that can be attached to a push rod or pull tape and inserted into a buried, non-metallic sewer, duct, drain or pipe. It comes with a high-strength case that is resistant to chemical reactions. An inter-functional portion of the active probe duct can be adjusted to the desired frequency according to the application requirement. This ADP easily finds the trouble points on the blocked or crushed conduits. The probe operates at a temperature of -4 to 122 degrees F (-20 to 50 degrees C).
