    Description

    Rheinberg Filter Set – Interchangeable – "Classic" and Zoom –  32mm .
Rheinberg illumination is based on dark-field illumination. With colored filters instead of the dark 'patch stop' wonderful effects can be created. It is important to know that the central filter is giving the dominant color of the image!
Included is a set custom made Interchangeable Rheinberg Filters - made from approx.
    3mm thick - (please
    check your condenser tray headroom
) one hundred percent transparent Lucite.
The user can change the center color applying any wanted center color to the desired color ring.
By design the rings are provided with a “shoulder “ to keep in place center stop not to fall through. After mounting the center stop and the peripheral color ring are at same level.
A great number of combination are possible.
The Zoom filters – shown in the right side of the attached picture.
Please look at the attached pictures, they represent the item we offer for sale. (
Note: Due to a poor color signature the very light blue "classic" exterior ring was substituted)
    INFO:
(Not all people are familiar with Rheinberg illumination, for people trying for the first time this technique we recommend to begin experimenting using as a starting point plenty of light, maximum condenser aperture and elevation. Please do not forget the Rheinberg illumination rules and Darkfield rules are different. Rheinberg filters will work very well in lower magnification range (up to 40X) Using this filters in higher magnification environment  the - so named "Rheinberg Effect" will be less noticeable or null.)
Since this filters are designed to be inserted in regular a condenser filter tray please do not try to put them in another location, they
    will not work)
