    Description

This is a 1950's Steindorff binocular microscope made in West Germany. It's being sold for parts because some are good and some are bad. The bad ones are that there are no oculars (eyepieces), the 4 place turret has only 2 objectives, a 3.5x and 10x Lumistars, and there is no mirror. The mechanical stage does move back and forth but the microscope slide clip does not stay in place.
The good ones are that there are two Steindorff-marked "plugs" where the eyepieces should be and do appear to be eyepieces. The coarse and fine focus knobs move but are very tight. The condenser moves up and down, and the iris opens and closes freely.
Therefore it can be used for parts, or as an example of 1950's West German microscopes in a collection of medical items or microscopes, or used for photography in mad scientist labs or skits. Shipment is free.
